Screening for Plagiarism

All manuscripts submitted to Mutamayyiz: Journal of Islamic Studies are subject to plagiarism screening to ensure the originality and integrity of scholarly work. The journal utilizes reliable plagiarism detection software to examine the similarity index of each submission. Manuscripts must have a similarity level of no more than 20%, excluding references, quotations, and commonly used terms.

If a manuscript is found to contain a high level of similarity or indications of plagiarism, it will be returned to the author for revision or rejected outright, depending on the severity of the issue. Authors are expected to properly cite all sources and ensure that their work is free from plagiarism, including self-plagiarism. The editorial team reserves the right to recheck revised manuscripts to confirm compliance with the journal’s ethical standards.
