Authors are invited to submit original manuscripts that have not been previously published and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Manuscripts must contribute to the development of knowledge in the field of Islamic economics, Sharia finance, and related disciplines.

1. Scope of Manuscripts

Dirham accepts manuscripts in the form of:

  • Original research articles

  • Conceptual and theoretical papers

  • Literature review articles

  • Case studies related to Islamic economics and Sharia-based financial practices

2. Language

Manuscripts may be written in English or Indonesian using clear, academic, and concise language.

3. Manuscript Structure

Manuscripts should be organized in the following order:

  1. Title

  2. Author(s) Name(s) (without academic titles)

  3. Institutional Affiliation(s)

  4. Email Address(es)

  5. Abstract (150–250 words)

  6. Keywords (3–5 words)

  7. Introduction

  8. Literature Review (if applicable)

  9. Research Methodology

  10. Results and Discussion

  11. Conclusion

  12. Acknowledgements (optional)

  13. References

4. Formatting Requirements

  • Paper size: A4

  • Font: Garamond, 14 pt

  • Line spacing: 1.5

  • Margins: 3 cm on all sides

  • Length: 6,000–8,000 words, including references

  • Paragraph alignment: Justified

5. Abstract and Keywords

  • Abstract must be written in English (and Indonesian if the manuscript is in Indonesian).

  • Abstract should clearly state the research objectives, methods, results, and conclusions.

  • Keywords should reflect the core content of the article.

6. Tables and Figures

  • Tables and figures must be numbered consecutively and titled clearly.

  • Sources must be stated if adapted or reproduced.

  • Tables and figures should be placed within the text near their first citation.

7. Citation and References

  • Dirham uses the APA (7th Edition) citation style.

  • All references must be cited in the text and listed alphabetically at the end of the manuscript.

  • Authors are encouraged to use reference management software (e.g., Mendeley, Zotero, EndNote).

8. Submission Process

  • Manuscripts are submitted through the journal’s Online Journal System (OJS).

  • Authors must register and log in to submit their manuscripts.

  • All submissions will be screened for plagiarism using plagiarism detection software.

9. Peer Review Process

  • All manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process.

  • Authors may be required to revise their manuscripts based on reviewers’ comments.

  • The final decision for publication rests with the Editor-in-Chief.

10. Publication Ethics

Authors must adhere to ethical standards in academic publishing, including originality, proper citation, avoidance of plagiarism, and disclosure of any conflicts of interest.

11. Copyright and License

Upon acceptance, authors agree to transfer publication rights to the journal, while retaining the right to use their work for academic and non-commercial purposes with proper acknowledgment.
